The Illustration was made for the contemporary musical sitar artist Anoushka Shankar, promoting her tour, which could to be adapted onto different collaterals, for the concert. The piece is inspired by the sitar track 'Boats to Nowhere' and depth of the sound reverberated from the instrument. The goal was to encapsulate the essence of the artist and her craft, while making it an effective piece of communication. The inspiration for the color palette to be monochromatic is drawn from the instrumental bit as it has no lyrics but the look and feel for an individual to color the interpretation.
